"No White After Labor Day" Debunked

A Fashion Hoax Debunked - Once and for All! If you’re struggling with the old Rule of Law, it’s time to break free - YES! You can wear white after Labor Day.

1) A Brief History Lesson: Where this “rule” originated.

Though it's unclear who invented this "rule," it originated among the elite in 19th-century America, explains Amanda Hallay, the fashion historian behind The Ultimate Fashion History, a popular YouTube channel. 2. Why are we still asking if it's okay to wear the hue after Labor Day?

If you look at the screenshot, you can see the Search Volume for the keyword phrase increases during the month of September. Clearly, we all are asking ourselves the same question. In this post, I’ll debunk the silly fashion folklore with examples from my life to help you break away from this rule from a bygone era!

White Jeans & Pants

White pants serve as those clean, chic bottoms. When pairing other colors with white bottoms, I love to stay neutral or follow the direction of the season.
