I’m going to London this Spring! I researched what to wear in London and here is what I found. Focus on dressing in layers with raincoats, lightweight sweaters, and wraps. These layers, paired with high-waisted pants and short boots, can be worn sightseeing or to dinner. And, due to the rainy weather, these recommendations will keep you dry and in style! Raincoats

Raincoats are a must-have for any woman who wants to stay dry in the rain. Choosing the right raincoat is key if you're going from museum to museum, like I plan to do. My fashion research shows two main raincoat categories: plastic and fabric.

For my personal style, I opted for a fabric raincoat. They are more fashionable and better for the environment. Fabric raincoats are usually made from cotton or polyester blends that allow air circulation through the garment so your body doesn't overheat while wearing it outdoors on warmer days.

High-Waisted Cropped Pants

High-waisted cropped pants for women are trendy and versatile. They sit at the natural waist and hit mid-calf, making them perfect for both casual and formal occasions. I intend to wear my high-waisted cropped pants sightseeing and to dinner. They can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with sneakers, and they come in a variety of fabrics.

Short Leather Boots

For shoes, I decided to pack a pair of short boots. Women's short boots in leather are a stylish and versatile addition to any wardrobe. They are perfect for pairing with jeans or high-waisted pants, and can also be worn with some skirts and dresses. I love a preppy-chic look. That is why I am infatuated with this pair of Sam Edelman bit loafers. They’re lovely because they match with anything, have a bit of a heel, and look like Gucci!

I asked two girlfriends which comfortable walking shoes they recommended. I decided to take their advice and purchase a pair of fashionable sneakers that I could use walking from museum to museum but also to the gym in the morning!
